Oh, so it goes. The summer races on, and the days only get shorter from here. Enjoy them while you can, folks.
Yep, it’s July and I’m in the midst of moving (the second time out of what will be four until I’m back to where I’m going), so my mind is elsewhere at the moment.
Much thanks to Tim who hosts the site and runs transatmospheric.com (the Cozy Home space station) for picking up my slack and promoting the daydream generation 5 compilation. Click on that link there for the mediafire download page, and look to your right for a link to the official DG website.
On the Cozy Home front, much is brewing at the moment, but everything still needs to ferment for a little while before we can start blowing minds again. Fig Mints (of Your Imagination) has finally finished a track for the Hex Murder soundtrack, which was mentioned a few weeks back. Check Figs’ Myspace page for a free peek at the song, and youtube.com/zombekfilms for some nice clips.
Also in the VERY IMPORTANT NEWS category, I’ll be posting all of Jenny Penny’s albums in the store sometime within the next few weeks. Jenny and Fig Mints (of Your Imagination) will be playing a show with the Real Burnouts and the Pop Culture Suicide Bombers at the Tramontane Cafe in Utica, NY on Friday, 8/8/08. Check the Tram’s myspace page and show love. Note: time on the page says 9am, but we here at the Cozy Home believe it to be 9pm.
I’d like to kindly ask all who read this to post a link to this here website on your pages. We could use all the promotion we can get. Here’s the code to a nifty little thingy that shows who you love:

It should look like this:

Alright, until next time this is your friendly neighborhood hoodlum signing off.
Out.
