Trashcan Acid Live
Up now for download is a reissue of Cozy Home Records’ first ever release, featuring the first collaboration between 2/3 of those who would later make up the original Fucking Flame lineup. Paul Crowther (later to be known as Paul Burnout of The Real Burnouts), and Luke Humann (aka Artie Lester of slacker sleazecore creeps Arthur Rules) got together in February of 1997 to record this one-off cassette live to four-track, and our history was born.
Not recommended for the impatient or aurally sensitive, its 8 tracks are comprised of 7 improvised and extremely noisy jams and two “real songs”, to use the words uttered by LH and heard faintly before the intro into the heavily Sonic Youth-influenced “Where Are You Walking”. Take your time with this one, kids. It’s kinda like an acid trip… It takes a while, but you’ll freak out once you let go.

Lamantin Radio
Okay, everybody! We at Cozy Home Records are proud to announce that a very nice chap by the name of David at a radio station in Hungary has stumbled upon our humble abode. So far he’s played songs by The Utica Flower Company, Jon of the Atom (Dead Canaries), Tofu Delux and The Wheelies, and we’re hoping for more! Aside from the flattering exposure that he’s shown us, he’s got some great musical taste, playing psychedelic, shoegaze, indie and electronic music. Very cool stuff, kiddies! Click on the picture to see playlists and stream or download entire programs.
And since you’re here, why not send an email to bobby@cozyhomerecords.com and let us know what you think about what we’re doing, and if we might be able to do anything better? Don’t forget, we do this for free, so without a dollar amount as a barometer we rely on feedback to let us know what “sells”.
Also, you can click here to go to Lamantin’s MySpace page, and don’t forget to stop by the downloads section and click on something. It’s always free!!!
