Our good friend Smally, of Wheelies fame, has issued forth the challenge to all who would accept it to write and record as many songs as possible in one month for a gigantic collective release… again.

The first time around, it didn’t work out so well. The Cozy Home Christmas Project, AKA The Cardboard Box Set:  The Troof Over Your Head, saw many CHR bands put out at least one album in the month of December, 2006. Despite all the records being made available, though, it was never fully glued together in one piece (see Daydream Generation post by Smally HERE).

Now it’s for real, and The Invisible Box Set is born! It features The Real Burnouts, The October Terminus (a Rob Levy manifestation), Periwinkle Periscope, HANDWITHLEGS, The Wheelies (supposedly Smally’s last ever solo release, though he’s said that before), and The Painted Shuts from the Cozy Home camp, as well as wonderful Daydream Generation acts like Becky N, Simon Piler and the Atom Band, James Redmond (of Tramp Attack and the Sweetcorns!!!), Uberfuzz and more!
